WLS Slowly Shrinking in OH Classical & Bowling Fan
First, No Picture of yourself & No Profile details= No Response/ Reply. Hi there! I'm 49yo, intell., widowed at age 33 & single, childfree by choice, Army Brat and former New Yorker & don't drive (UBER user) , non smoker (respiratory issues & can't be around it), no pets, not a drinker and after 42 long years of battling & failing at weight loss, coupled with an UNDER developed thyroid (I'll still have to take meds for that for rest of my life) & was agoraphobic for 4/ 5 years TWICE in my life, I was approved for and had gastric Bypass procedure in Feb. 2018. I'd researched all procedures since 1996, did numerous Q & As of surgeons- patients- nutritionists and I wanted to know the good/ not so good & the indifferent. This wasn't easy and was hard work pre-op and post-op. The work never stops. But the "tool" has helped tremendously. Pre-op I had bone loss & still do now so I use a light weight cane for stability & balance, but my surgeon OK'd me recently for the gym. I just started my gym membership on June 6th, 2019, and I go bowling to exercise & keep healthy not to keep score. And will restart my aqua therapy in late fall/ early winter. My food regimen is very high in proteins/ dark leafy greens & salads/ copious amounts of water and plant based protein mixes (i'm allergic to whey & egg protein mixes and to shellfish & grapefruit). I've lost a lot & have much more to lose. I'm hoping to make new, genuine, non s----l platonic friends aged 38-55 (ladies & gents) in northeaste
Ohio (Mahoning or Trumbull Co. region pls.) for pleasant conversations (i'm not a recipe swapper. sorry. lol), possibly very early mo
ing gym workouts- coffee/ tea, and for mo
ing bowling get togethers if we're near ea. other. All in all, I sincerely wish you success in your quest in whatever your personal goals are: both on & off the scale.
